Microwave and high-frequency type industrial equipment is mainly used for handling, processing and producing wood products, rubber products, industrial raw materials, chemical materials, food and medicine, etc. As the applications and products varies, the operation mode is also quite different. The main operation mode of these equipments can be divided into three categories. First, the transmission line production, the second is sealed vacuum-type fixed operation, the third is repeated mechanical operation.

While among all the optical sensing principlesonly infrared temperature sensing technology and fluorescent optical fiber temperature sensing technology are able to meet the needs of low-cost per measuring point.

        Infrared temperature measurement is more suitable for surface temperature monitoring. Fluorescence optical fiber temperature measurement fit for embedded internal temperature monitoring. In above mentioned three different operation mode equipmentinfrared temperature measurement technology is more suitable for transmission line production equipmentswhile the fluorescent optical fiber temperature sensing technique is more suitable for sealed vacuum-type fixed operation and repeated mechanical operation equipmentsWe can say that fluorescent optical fiber temperature sensing technique is the key technology to solve the problems in these two kind of equipments.
